What affects the price
- The pest: a wasp nest is usually a single visit, while bed bugs, cockroaches and rodents often need several
- How big and how established the problem is
- The size and type of property, and how many rooms or units are affected
- The number of visits needed, including follow-ups
- Whether proofing is required to stop pests getting back in
- Access: lofts, roofs and communal areas can take more time
- Whether the job is urgent or out of hours
Our standard visit
A standard pest control visit is priced on our booking page. This covers a visit to look at the problem and begin treatment where appropriate. If your problem needs more work, such as repeat visits or proofing, we explain what is involved and agree the next step with you before we continue.
Questions to ask any pest controller
- What pest do you think this is, and why?
- What treatment are you recommending and how many visits will it take?
- What is included, and is proofing extra?
- What should I do to prepare?
- What happens if the pests come back?
Beware of very cheap quotes
Very low headline prices can mean a single quick spray with no follow-up. Good pest control identifies the cause, treats the source and checks the results.
