Rodent control
Professional rodent baits are placed inside lockable, tamper-resistant bait stations, positioned where children and pets cannot reach them, often in voids, behind units or outside along walls. Where bait is not suitable, we use traps in covered boxes. We record where everything is placed and collect it when the job is done.
Insect treatments
Insecticides are applied in precise amounts to cracks, crevices, voids and the places insects live and travel. Gel baits for cockroaches and ants are placed as tiny dots inside cracks and equipment, out of reach. Spray treatments for fleas and bed bugs need people and pets to stay out of the room until surfaces are dry, usually a few hours.
Tell us about your household
When booking, please tell us about:
- Babies, young children and anyone who is pregnant
- Anyone with asthma, allergies or other health conditions
- Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, fish, reptiles and other pets
- Chickens or other animals in the garden
We will choose methods and timings to suit, and explain any precautions.
Precautions after treatment
- Keep people and pets out of treated rooms for the time we advise
- Cover fish tanks and switch off air pumps during spray treatments
- Do not touch or move bait stations
- Wash hands after handling anything in treated areas
Why DIY can be riskier
Shop-bought rodent poison scattered loosely, or sprays used heavily, are the most common causes of accidental poisoning in pets. Professionals use products and methods designed to keep exposure to a minimum. See DIY or professional pest control.
